Downloading original photos for printing

by Matt Krause on October 9, 2012

This was a temporary blog, specifically for the walk across Turkey. Visit Matt's permanent website,

A few people like some of the photos and asked how they could download the original higher-resolution photos — for printing, scrapbooks, etc.

The originals are stored on Flickr. Almost all of them are 4000 pixels by 3000 pixels, which is large enough for a 10-inch x 8-1/2-inch printout at 300 dpi (the resolution that won’t give you pixelation).

They are freely available to the public for individual use. You don’t have to ask me first if you can use them. I only ask that you don’t make a living off of reselling them (if you do make a living off of reselling them, let me know how, so I can do it too!).

The video showing how to do download the originals is here…
